In a startling development, a video has surfaced depicting excavators digging up a major highway in the Lipetsk region of Russia on June 24, 2023. This incident has taken place in an area that reportedly houses one of the columns belonging to the notorious Wagner Private Military Company (PMC). Led by Yevgeny Prigozhin, the founder of the organization, the mercenaries are believed to be staging a rebellion against the Russian military leadership and are allegedly heading towards Moscow.

Filmed on the border of the Dobrovsky and Chaplyginsky districts, specifically on the highway leading to Chaplygin, the video has caused significant concern among local residents. Further reports suggest that additional roads in the Chaplygin area have also been subjected to similar excavation. One resident expressed their frustration saying, "I am standing in front of the Chaplyginsky district - in short, everything, we can no longer drive through. I don't know how to go home."
