Madagascar celebrated the 63rd anniversary of its independence on Monday in Antananarivo, Malagasy capital.
Madagascar was colonized by France from 1896 and gained its independence on June 26, 1960.
As usual, a military parade followed by cultural performances was held at the Barea Stadium in Antananarivo.
