A pet owner wailed tears of joy after reuniting with his dog who had been missing for a month.

Footage shows the emotional middle-aged man crying upon seeing the fluffy white pooch Paolo excited to greet him in Samut Prakan province, Thailand on May 22.

He could not stop weeping even until the dog Paolo's temporary caretakers handed him his beloved pet.

The pair had been separated for more than four weeks and Paolo was found by good Samaritans who cared for him and searched for his owner.

Net, who found Paolo wandering the streets, said: ‘I know the dog had owners and was not a stray because he was clean when I saw him. I did my best to find his owner because I know he came from a loving home.'

Paolo returned home with his owner, who was grateful to Net and his friend Nuttapong for helping them find each other.
