Celebrities including the likes of Simon Pegg and Rob Delaney joined hundreds at a rally in London's Leicester Square on Friday (July 21) organised by the Equity UK union to express solidarity with the SAG-AFTRA strike in the United States.

Those gathered chanted 'one struggle, one fight, we support SAG-AFTRA's strike' and 'stolen rights, s****y pay, we support the strike today".

Placards spotted at the rally included 'this Barbie's last residual was $0.02', 'support artists not algorithms' and 'ChatGPT can write a derivative slogan... but it can't carry this sign'.
