This is the heartwarming moment a daughter made a surprise return visit to her parents.

The 38-year-old eldest sibling was very close to her father but had to live separately from them when she was married and moved away several years ago.

However, when the family had a beach getaway in Boracay, she planned to show up at the villa unannounced with her brother.

Footage shows the old couple unpacking their bags and resting when their daughter suddenly walked in with a little girl on July 12.

The family jumped for joy and hugged each other while the emotional father cried in the corner because of the unexpected reunion.

Brother Lance Albert Lim said: ‘We went there to celebrate my birthday and my dad's 65th. My sister lives with her family in Laguna while we are in Manila City. She's very close to my dad.'
