Dying Monarch Butterfly proves that forest fires and storms cannot stop her from making her long journey home to me

I have been helping Monarch Butterflies for over 6 years by protecting them and helping them to complete their life cycle. This year after major forest fires in northern Quebec Canada affecting our environment by polluting it with ash and smog I have only seen 2 Monarch Butterflies return to my garden. One laid 4 eggs but sadly the day old caterpillars were eaten by predators. The Monarch Butterfly appearing in this film is literally broken and torn . It has been relaxing in my garden ready to die and I feel honoured to spend its last days with it. Their resilience teaches us that the rotting world is not so rotten because it is filled with a continuation of thriving life.
