The City2Surf fun run event kicked off Sunday in Australia's Sydney.
Over 80,000 participants registered for this year's event, with a four-month-old baby as the youngest while the most senior runner reached the age of 91 years old.
Moving eastward from Hyde Park in Sydney's central business area, participants got dressed up as they wished, enjoyed band performances alongside the 14-kilometer course, and touched the finishing line at Bondi Beach.

"It's a beautiful event. The whole city embraces it and everyone. It is just a sport bringing the kids, and the family around. It's a beautiful day."
SOUNDBITE 2 (English): CAROLINA, Participant, Sydney resident
"This time, it felt different because we could share with them. It wasn't about our time or anything. It was more about the atmosphere and doing something in a community with everyone. So it was fantastic."
