Korean star DJ Soda complains about fans groping her breasts at concert in Japan
Korean star DJ Soda who found fame for her skimpy tops and pumped-up cleavage has complained about fans groping her boobs at a concert in Japan.
The dancer was performing at the Osaka Music Circus Festival on August 14 when concertgoers reached over a metal barrier to touch her bosom.
Footage shows the fans - both male and female - screaming as they reached toward the DJ's body and touched her breasts. She continued lip-syncing to a song while holding the microphone.
The actress, whose real name is Hwang So-hee, 35, took to social media to complain about the conduct.
She said: ‘Today I was performing at the Osaka Music Circus Festival in Japan, and not one but many people suddenly started touching my breasts. I was helplessly harassed.
'I was surprised and scared. There were fans who loved me and even cried when they saw me so I decided to finish until the end.
‘I really tried my best to pretend nothing was wrong, but I'm still scared. In the 10 years I've been DJing, I've never had anything like this happen during a performance.
'I still can't believe I've been through something like this. Men weren't the only ones touching my chest. The women too.
'I really like interacting with the fans, and I always end the performance by going down to the stage and hugging them. But it's the first time I've been sexually harassed during a performance, so I wanted to muster up the courage to say it.'
The DJ has also spoken out against victim-blaming culture and the idea that women should be free to wear whatever they choose when it comes to clothing.
A large part of her popularity is down to her peroxide blonde hair coupled with tiny shorts and tight tops that show off her surgically enhanced breasts. She also frequently posts sensual photos of herself in bikinis and lingerie on Instagram to her five million followers.
The DJ said: ‘Is it wrong to wear revealing clothes at water festivals? I am free to wear what I want and no one can judge a person by the way they dress. My body is mine, not someone else's.
'Sexual harassment and assault against me cannot be justified no matter what I wear. It took me a lot of courage to say this.'
