Perseid meteor shower lights up night sky above Devon with lots of shooting stars.
The Perseid Meteor Shower took place in the skies over the northern hemisphere this past weekend.
This video was shot on the 11th/12th of August one day before the peak of the meteor shower on Aylesbeare Common and in Exeter, Devon.
The filmer commented: "I saw at least 100 meteors whilst filming and this video shows the best ones and the video clips are filmed in real time. You can see some of the meteors leave long green tails behind them and are absolutely beautiful."
