A 6.8-magnitude earthquake jolted Morocco at 11:11 p.m. local time (2211 GMT) on Friday.

"This is Xinhua News Agency journalist Huo Jing reporting from Ouarzazate -- a city in the southeast of Morocco, 200 km away from the epicenter. The disaster has claimed over 600 lives, and the rescue work is underway now."
According to local media, the death toll from the earthquake has risen to 632, with 329 injuries.
