This footage illustrates local residents of Ouirgane, Morocco dealing with the aftermath of the devastating earthquake that hit the counrty.

One of local lost 5 members during quake 4 days ago. The other lady is not satisfied with the aids and says the government doesn't help them and they are just surviving to stay alive in a handmade tent/camp.

Soundbite 1 - Lahchen Ben Dada:
I still remember the time of earthquake, our world was shaken to its core. We were patrolling near our village dam, and that's when we felt the earth tremble beneath us. At first, we thought it was merely a tremor, but reality struck hard – it was indeed an earthquake.
Without hesitation, we rushed back to our village and were met with a scene of devastation. Roads lay shattered, houses reduced to rubble, and the immediate task at hand was to rescue those trapped beneath the debris. Tragically, I, personally, lost five beloved members of my family in this calamity.
This is a sight we will never forget, a stark reminder of the unpredictable forces of nature. In these trying times, we seek solace in our faith, praying for safety and strength.

Soundbite 2 - Fatima Jouhari:

Our feelings are far from contentment, as we find ourselves in a situation where nobody has reached out to inquire about our needs. We've only received two blankets, graciously offered by those who've collected what they could spare.
It seems the government is preoccupied with road access and injuries, leaving us feeling somewhat abandoned. It is the volunteers who have come forward, inquiring about our well-being and extending a helping hand to those in need. As you can probably hear, our homes have been damaged, and we are here, right in the midst of it all.
Our livelihoods are hanging by a thread, and we beseech you to understand the urgency of our situation. Your support can make a world of difference for us.

Soundbite 3 - Mi Mina bent Omar:
I find myself in unimaginable pain, my two legs are broken, and my stomach aches persistently. The anguish is all-encompassing, and fear grips me tightly. Our house was lost in the blink of an eye, an event that unfolded with unfathomable speed.
I cannot express how overwhelmed I am by the challenges life has thrown our way. In this moment of despair, we are immensely grateful for the support we have received from our king and government. We beseech the Almighty to protect them from all harm and misfortune.
