Jade of Liangzhu Culture, a testament to the 5,000-year-old Chinese civilization, has become a major cultural element of the 19th Asian Games set to open in east China's Hangzhou on Saturday.

Their images can be seen in torches, medals, and venues, as well as the decorations found on the heads of its mascots.

"Yucong," or "Jade Cong," is the earliest cosmological model in Chinese civilization. It demonstrates the ancient Liangzhu people's understanding of the universe.
