Chinese Child Uses Red Scarf as a Lifeline to Rescue a Kitten that Trapped in Hole in River Bank in Sichuan, China

On September 14, 2023, a video captured in Sichuan documented a group of schoolchildren's touching attempt to rescue a kitten trapped in a sewer pipe.
The cat was seen staying in a plumbing hole in the wall, with a river running underneath it.
A group of primary school students stood on a bridge over the river, trying to rescue the kitten by lowering an umbrella attached to several red scarves near the hole in the sewer pipe.
However, the umbrella couldn't bear the cat's weight, nearly dropping into the river as the kitten tried to get into it. Fortunately, the clever cat managed to climb back up the pipe in the nick of time.
According to the filmer Mr.Li, the kitten is still not being rescued successfully but thankfully some people keep bringing it food daily.
