"The large-scale Israeli-Palestinian conflict entered the second day on Sunday. At least 300 Israelis have been killed in the offensive that began in the early hours of Saturday.
Thousands of rockets have been fired toward Israel.
Palestinian health authorities in Gaza reported that at least 300 Palestinians were killed and nearly 2,000 injured in the enclave due to Israeli airstrikes.
Meanwhile, early Sunday morning, dozens of rockets and heavy artillery shells were fired toward Israeli positions on the Shebaa Farms, a disputed strip of land at the intersection of the Lebanese-Syrian border and the Israeli-annexed Golan Heights.
The Israeli military confirmed it is responding with artillery fire toward southern Lebanon."
