STORYLINE:

The China-proposed Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) has helped Indonesia develop in various fields and promoted cultural exchanges between the two countries, said an Indonesian expert.

It makes access easier. The Belt and Road Initiative also brings a lot of cultural exchanges, so that Indonesian people, especially those of non-Chinese descent, are starting to understand China.

The expert also hopes that BRI can make ASEAN strong and united in the future.
