The staff at Gaza's Al-Shifa Hospital endured another chaotic night on Sunday 5 November, as the flow of injured and dead did not stop.

Israel's military said late on Sunday that it had encircled Gaza City, in the north of the enclave, and would continue it's operation it says is aimed only at rooting out Hamas.

Amid thousands of deaths, Palestinians have accused Israel of indiscriminate attacks on civilians, a charge it denies.

The US has caused for "humanitarian pauses". Other countries have called for a ceasefire. Israel has rejected both unless all its hostages are freed.

The footage was shot in the early hours of 6 November.

Muhammad Jadallah, a paramedic had this to say about the scene at the hospital (in Arabic):
Q: What happened?
A: We received a call for help that one of the injured who was under the rubble. So we went to save him. We started to take him out and while we were helping his father we were directly targeted. All the crews were injured, and as you see we are here in the hospital. We are asking for protection, protect the rescue crews, because they don't have any protection.
