"Israeli tanks continue separating northern Gaza from the south, and engaging in heavy battles with Hamas fighters. The heaviest Israeli airstrikes took place in Al Shati refugee camp located at the northwest of Gaza. Tens of Palestinians were killed in the airstrikes and artillery shelling, while civil defense forces said tens are still buried under the rubble as they don't have the equipment needed, and due to the scale of destruction, as their vehicles were not able to enter inside the camp."

"A series of memorial events were held across Israel on Tuesday to mourn the 1,400 people killed during the Hamas attack on Oct. 7. Military operation continues in Gaza. IDF (Israel Defense Forces) said on Tuesday morning that its troops secured a military stronghold belonging to Hamas in northern Gaza, while they found anti-tank missiles, weapons and intelligence materials there. It also located a group of Hamas militants in a building near a hospital in Gaza and launched airstrikes to this building.
In an interview with U.S. media outlet ABC, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu suggested that some tactical pauses are possible in order to enable humanitarian goods to come in or individual hostages to leave the Gaza Strip. However, he reaffirmed that a ceasefire would be a surrender to Hamas, saying there will be no ceasefire in Gaza without the release of hostages."

"UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres said on Monday 'the nightmare in Gaza is more than a humanitarian crisis. Gaza is becoming a graveyard for children.'
UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Volker Türk began on Tuesday a five-day visit to the Middle East to engage with government officials on the human rights violations taking place amid Israel's escalation in Gaza.
U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken wrapped up his visit to the Middle East on Monday, which included Israel, Jordan, Palestine, Iraq and Türkiye.
Blinken reached no agreements on an immediate ceasefire with Arab foreign ministers, while several rallies were staged to protest U.S. support for Israel and its indifference to the humanitarian crisis in the Gaza Strip."
