Protester at National March for Palestine is carrying a controversial placard exposing Keir Starmer as 'a spineless undercover Tory'. National March for Palestine – Ceasefire Now! on Saturday, 11 November saw hundreds of thousands of participants chanting 'Stop bombing Gaza' and 'Ceasefire now' and has become the biggest pro-Palestinian protest against the war in Gaza since Israel launched an air and ground offensive on the Gaza Strip following Hamas’s attacks on southern Israel on October 7. According to Palestinian officials on Friday 11,078 Gaza residents had been killed in air and artillery strikes since the 7th of October. Organised by Palestine Solidarity Campaign, Friends of Al-Aqsa, Stop the War Coalition, Muslim Association of Britain, Palestinian Forum in Britain and Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament.the march started at Hyde Park and proceeded through central London to Vauxhall. The March for Palestine coincided with the annual Armistice Day in the UK commemorating the end of World War I and honouring those killed in military action.
