A monkey carried out a daring food heist on an unsuspecting visitor to Iguazú National Park in Argentina on 8 November.

The bold simian robbery was captured by tourist guide @lilianpatriciaale at Plaza 2 Hermanas.

In the video, a mother monkey, accompanied by her baby, leapt onto a roof and descended swiftly to a table being used by dining visitors.

The fearless animal then jumped up and snatched food from one of them before dashing away and back up onto the roof to eat it.

The man looked pretty devastated by his loss, though hopefully the beauty of the picturesque park meant his trip was not totally ruined.
