The Brian Jonestown Massacre frontman Anton Newcombe ended a chaotic Melbourne, Australia, gig early after it degenerated into a fight on stage between him and guitarist Ryan Van Kriedt.

The Brian Jonestown Massacre concert at Melbourne's Forum Theatre on 21 November was a shambles, with frontman Newcombe abusing the audience and rambling and ranting his way through a slow two-hour set in which the band only managed to play seven songs.

The culminated with a fight on stage between him and Van Kriedt, after Newcombe ordered the guitarist to leave the stage.

This video shows the curtain descending on frontman Anton Newcombe after he ended the gig with a bizarre kneeling gesture and the comment 'God bless this country', to boos from the audience.
