On November 16, a captivating aerial video shot in Qiannan Buyei and Miao Autonomous Prefecture captured a magical weather phenomenon in the middle of China's Yunnan and Guizhou provinces.

The video shows cold air from the north being blocked by the Wumeng Mountains, creating thick white rain clouds on the side of the peaks. The clouds keep churning and rolling under strong winds, creating a natural spectacle.

According to media reports, this is actually a weather phenomenon called quasi-stationary fronts formed when cold and warm air fronts of equal strength encounter each other and reach a state of stillness.
