Couple become one of the first same-sex partnerships to receive Church of England blessing

Catherine Bond (left) and Jane Pearce (right) have become one of the first same-sex couples to be blessed in a church following a service at St John the Baptist church in Felixstowe, Suffolk.
The use of prayers of blessing for same-sex couples in Church of England services were approved by the House of Bishops this week.
Known as prayers of love and faith, the blessings can be used as part of regular services from today.
