STORYLINE:
A new hydrogen supply project in southwest China's Chongqing officially started operation on Wednesday, capable of providing 6,400kg of highly purified hydrogen per day.

"Based on the existing environmental protection facilities, the project is featured with low operation costs, effective carbon emission reduction and stable hydrogen supply capacity. The final overall cost is over 30% lower than that of conventional hydrogen production."
The hydrogen is transported to the fueling stations through 500-meter pipelines.
