The firefighting efforts in Piemonte continue as wildfires fueled by strong winds persist in the provinces of Torino and Verbano. Firefighters have been working tirelessly to contain the forest fires, exacerbated by the fierce winds sweeping through Torino and Verbano.

In Porte, near Pinerolo (TO), an active flame front has been successfully addressed, thanks to the efforts of firefighters, with air support from the Erickson S-64 "Red Cloud" helicopter. In Pessinetto (TO), in the Lanzo Valley, firefighting teams, including reinforcements from Vercelli and Cuneo, continue battling the flames.

In Condove, Torino Province, where active flame fronts persist, firefighting operations are ongoing, supported by teams from Asti and Novara, alongside aerial assets like Canadair and the Erickson S-64 helicopter from the national fleet.

Meanwhile, in the Verbano region, operations are underway to extinguish a forest fire in the Roledo hamlet of Montecrestese. Watch the aerial firefighting efforts in Porte in the attached clip.
