China will work with all parties to uphold an open, stable and predictable international trade environment, Chinese Vice Premier He Lifeng said during a meeting with the Director-General of the World Trade Organization (WTO) Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala in Beijing on Tuesday. 　　 He, also a member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, said China firmly supports the multilateral trading system centered on the WTO and opposes unilateralism and protectionism. He said that China will participate in reforming the WTO, and promote the liberalization and facilitation of trade and investment. Okonjo-Iweala said the multilateral trading system provides global trade with stability and resilience.
