Surveillance video captures Volkswagen accident: elderly man hit while clearing snow
In a harrowing incident captured by surveillance cameras on January 18, 2024, in Karaganda, Kazakhstan, a 40-year-old Volkswagen driver lost control of their vehicle on Solnechnaya Street, ultimately colliding with a 73-year-old man who was diligently clearing snow from a driveway. The video footage reveals the distressing moment when the car skidded, leaving the elderly gentleman with various bruises. The victim was promptly admitted to the trauma center of the Multidisciplinary Hospital named after Professor Kh. Zh. Makazhanov, where he received initial medical attention and examinations. Following the necessary care, he was then directed for further outpatient treatment.
