A woman feared for her safety after she was harassed by a large group for wearing "inappropriate" clothing at a market in Aba, Nigeria.

Yvonne Ogbekile was filmed as she wandered through the market wearing a black T-shirt and a pair of biker shorts.

The video shows a large group following her, with some men even recording Ogbekile.

"It was truly a traumatising event. I went to the market for the first time dressed in my biker shorts and top, immediately I entered people started making noise and gathering. I was so confused," said Ogbekile

She added: "Before I knew it, the whole of the market square came outside looking, calling me all kinds of names like a 'prostitute'. I had to be locked inside a shop for a while for my safety unless they were going to harass me, and do all kinds of things to me.

"I had to buy big boy shorts to wear under my shorts and a friend had to come get me out of there! My friend made this video, the size of the people was tripled when I was leaving.

"I cried and I still have PTSD to this day, felt like I stole something or killed someone."
