STORYLINE:

In history, Kunafa was known as the food of sultans and kings in the East for hundreds of years.

Between Egypt and the Levant, Kunafa appeared as a dessert prepared specifically for the Sultans of the Fatimid era to satisfy their hunger during the fasting period all over the day.

Over time, Kunafa became the favorite dessert dish for Egyptian ordinary people, so until this day Egyptians still eat Kunafa and are keen to prepare it as an essential dessert dish served at their tables, especially during the holy month of Ramadan.

The exact ingredients of Kunafa differ depending on which Arabic region it comes from.

Kunafa's prices have not changed much, as its ingredients are simple and inexpensive. It is a liquid mixture of flour and water that is cooked on the surface of a hot griddle in the form of very thin dough filaments.
