Hiker Rescued with Helicopter in Life-Threatening Situation at Capo Gallo, Italy

The video shows the area of Capo Gallo, province of Palermo, where a hiker who had lost his orientation was rescued aboard a helicopter. This afternoon, the intervention of the firefighters' helicopter rescue team with the VF142 Dragon from the flight department of Catania, the Speleo team, and expert topographers from the Palermo Command was called upon.
The hiker was successfully rescued and brought to safety thanks to the quick response of the rescuers. This incident serves as a reminder of the importance of being prepared and aware of one's surroundings while exploring nature.
