In a breathtaking rescue operation on October 4th, firefighters demonstrated their mettle by saving an hiker in distress at an altitude of 1,300 meters near Valbondione, in the Bergamo mountains. The dramatic scene unfolded as darkness began to settle, adding urgency to the already perilous situation.
The hiker, whose identity has not been disclosed, found themselves in a dire predicament, unable to navigate out of trouble on their own. Responding swiftly to the call for help, the local fire brigade deployed their elite unit, utilizing the formidable Drago 165 helicopter.
