Storyline:
The Palestinian death toll in the Gaza Strip from ongoing Israeli attacks has risen to 32,414, the Hamas-run Health Ministry said in a press statement on Tuesday.
During the past 24 hours, the Israeli army killed 81 Palestinians and wounded 93 others, it added.
This brings the total death toll to 32,414 and injuries to 74,787 since the Palestine-Israel conflict broke out on Oct. 7, 2023, according to the ministry.
On Tuesday, the Israeli army released a video of air strikes on targets of the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) in the Gaza Strip, claiming that in the past 24 hours, Israeli warplanes attacked more than 60 targets in Gaza, including underground tunnels and military facilities.
The Israeli troops also launched air strikes in retaliation for the rocket attacks by Palestinian armed personnel.
In addition, the Israeli army continued military operations in the area where al-Shifa Hospital is located in the northern Gaza Strip, killing many armed personnel.
On the same day, Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, stated that its armed personnel hit Israeli soldiers with mortars and blew up Israeli military vehicles near al-Shifa Hospital, and attacked two Israeli tanks with rockets in Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip, one of which was completely destroyed.
The Al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad movement (PIJ), said that it also raided Israeli soldiers and vehicles near al-Shifa Hospital on that day.
On Tuesday, the Palestinian Red Crescent Society issued a statement, announcing that the Al-Amal Hospital in Khan Younis suspended operations after the Israeli army surrounded the hospital for more than 40 days with multiple rounds of bombings.
Meanwhile, the Egyptian and United Arab Emirates (UAE) militaries conducted the 15th airdrop of humanitarian aid to the northern Gaza Strip, said the Joint Operations Command of the UAE Ministry of Defense on Tuesday. The humanitarian aid included 33 tons of food and medical supplies. The joint operation will last for several weeks to help those affected by the ongoing Palestine-Israel conflict in Gaza.
Since the launch of the joint operation on November 5, 2023, the two countries have airdropped a total of 574 tons of humanitarian supplies to the Gaza Strip.
