Electric Bicycles Traffic Accident in Huangpu, China
This footage was filmed and produced 6 March 2024.
The video shooter recorded a not-so-serious e-bike accident on the road. A left-turning e-bike collided with a straight-line e-bike, but fortunately there were no injuries.
This footage was filmed by Cao Dahua, in Shanghai, China, at 6:00pm, on March 6, 2024.
The video shooter stopped his car to let an electric bicycle in the opposite direction go first because he saw it trying to make a left turn. But the electric bicycle in the right non-motorized lane didn't notice that there was an electric bicycle in front of it trying to make a left turn, and the two electric bicycles crashed together. Analyzing the accident, the left-turning electric bicycle was fully responsible, because he did not wait for the straight going electric bicycle to pass first, and did not observe the road conditions.
