Huaihua, China - July 21, 2025 A man riding an electric bicycle crashed into the rear of a parked truck in Zhijiang Dong Autonomous County, Hunan Province. The accident happened on Qingjiang Road when the rider, Li, was looking down and failed to notice the truck ahead. He was also not wearing a helmet. Li collided directly with a truck that had been illegally parked by Guo. The crash caused Li to suffer a head injury. Authorities found Li mainly responsible for the accident due to his distraction and failure to wear a helmet. Guo was assigned secondary responsibility for parking in violation of traffic rules. Police reminded electric bicycle riders to wear helmets and stay attentive while riding. Drivers are also urged to follow parking regulations to prevent accidents.
