Indian men and women of various society take part in rajasthani ghoomar stick dance called Ger on Sheetala Saptami festival during Holi celebrations in Beawar city of Rajasthan state in India. Hundreds of Rajasthani people wearing traditional dress with turban on head and ghungroo on legs, dance with wooden sticks on live music with folk singing. Indian people also dressed as Maharana Pratap, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, Birbal and various types of other historical and religious character. Fireworks light up the sky after the dance. Thousands of people reached for watching traditional dance. According Hindu calendar, Sheetala Saptami festival celebrated on the seventh day after Holi. The spring festival of colors, Holi is considered as an end of winter and arrival of spring. It is also celebrated as victory of good over evil. (Story by Sumit Saraswat)
