"In the early hours on Friday, the Israeli military launched a series of airstrikes targeting Syrian air defense installations in the southern province of Daraa, according to the Syrian Defense Ministry.
The strikes commenced at 2:55 a.m. local time, left only material damage with no casualties reported.
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said that more than six Israeli aircraft were seen flying intensively over Daraa.
Specifically targeted was the radar battalion in Daraa which is responsible for monitoring the Syrian airspace in the southern region."
