Temple Elephants gets Spa Treatment Before India's Largest Temple Festival
Thrissur Pooram is one the biggest, most colourful temple festivals of Kerala, held in the cultural capital of Kerala, Thrissur. Hundreds of elephants visit the famous Vadakkunnathan Temple in over 8 days. The elephants get rejuvenation treatments near the temple premises before the big festival.
During the 3-day festival over 100 elephants visit the deity and offer prayers. Thrissur Pooram is known as one of the largest temple festivals celebrated across the world.
