A new cylindrical floating production, storage and offloading facility, designed and built by China, was delivered on Friday in China's Shandong.
It marks a major breakthrough in key technologies for the construction of China's deepwater oil and gas equipment.
With a maximum displacement of 100,000 tons, it can store up to 60,000 tons of oil.
It can operate at sea for 15 years without returning to dock.
