A restaurant packed with gas cylinders exploded and set off a fire that killed at least nine people in Lebanon.

Dramatic video filmed in Beirut on April 30 shows a huge fire engulfing a restaurant named Pizza Secrets, with black smoke rising into the air due to a gas explosion.

Captain Ali Negm told Al-Araby Al-Jadeed that it appears two gas canisters ruptured inside, causing the fire.

Nine people were killed, and four were wounded.

At least 8 people were killed on Tuesday as a result of a fire caused by a gas leak inside a small restaurant in Beirut, according to the National News Agency and the Minister of Interior. “a gas leak led to an explosion in the restaurant,” which led to “two wounded and eight victims who died of suffocation inside the restaurant.”
