The driver, pausing to respond to a text near a Burger King, found themselves engaged in an unexpected moment of companionship with the egret, who remained steadfast even as the car resumed its journey. Despite assumptions that the bird would depart once the car moved, it chose to stay, prompting the driver to capture the serene scene on their phone. The bird flew away later.
