SOUNDBITE 1 (Chinese): WANG QIONG, Deputy Director of Gansu provincial song and dance theater
"Our predecessors, over 40 years ago, turned the static images of the murals into dynamic performances on stage. I think it's a considerable accomplishment. As an inheritor of the 'Flower Rains along the Silk Road,' I feel proud. It's our responsibility to effectively spread and preserve the unique language and context of Dunhuang dance."
Over the past 45 years, the show has brought the charm of the Silk Road and Dunhuang culture to many parts of the world.
SOUNDBITE 2 (Chinese): WANG QIONG, Deputy Director of Gansu provincial song and dance theater
"It has acted as a gateway for international promotion, offering a platform for more global audiences to delve into Chinese traditional culture and diverse facets of China through our performances."
