Storyline:
Palestinian civilians from Nuseirat refugee camp on Saturday recalled the unexpected Israeli strikes on the camp earlier on the same day which killed at least 210 Palestinians and injured 400 others.

Israeli forces, under the cover of artillery and aerial bombardment, on Saturday raided the Nuseirat refugee camp to rescue four hostages who they said were kidnapped by Hamas in the Gaza Strip on Oct. 7, 2023.

Palestinian security sources said deadly clashes broke out on the ground between Palestinian armed forces and Israeli troops.

The Israeli military operation lasted for around 30 minutes.

The attacks has further deepened the despair of the refugees there.

Meanwhile, hospitals in Gaza have called for international aid as they are now short of hands and supplies after the Israeli attacks.

Shuhada Al-Aqsa Hospital in Deir al-Balah, Gaza Strip, has been appealing to the international community for help as they could not attend so many people who were flocking to the hospital amid the intensified Israeli bombardment.

A hospital in Nuseirat refugee camp has been overwhelmed as a large numbers of killed and wounded are arriving at the hospital,
which was also attacked by the Israeli forces during the operation. The higher floors of the hospital have been damaged.

The current round of deadly conflict between Israel and Gaza-ruling Hamas has raged for eight months since its start on Oct. 7, 2023. It erupted as Israel launched a large offensive in Gaza after Hamas militants stormed southern Israel from Gaza in a surprise attack, killing around 1,200 people and taking about 250 hostages back to the Palestinian enclave.

The Palestinian death toll from the ongoing Israeli attacks in the enclave had risen to 36,801, with 83,680 people injured, as updated by the health authorities in Gaza on Saturday.
