Faster development drives growth for humanoid robot component makers in China

With AI speeding up the pace at which humanoid robots can be developed and improved, Chinese companies that produce hardware and components for humanoid robots are experiencing major growth.

The founder of a robotics company in Beijing explained that with artificial intelligence training robots at a faster pace, upgrading the robots’ hardware is also happening more quickly.

And it will only increase going forward.

"Every new robot with new functionality can be worked out in three months. In the future, we hope to shorten that to one month."

According to a joint study by Chinese robotics firm UBTech Robotics, and Chinese market research company, Leaderobot.com, the country’s humanoid robot market is expected to top 3.8 billion U.S. dollars by the end of this year.
