Pakistani young man AbdurRubb has aspired to become an engineer since childhood.

After graduating from a Chinese university in 2022, he fulfilled his dream in Chongqing, an automobile production base in China.

"If I talk about my life in Chongqing, it's fabulous, because the life in Chongqing, the landscape, everything is so good. I really love about the Chongqing landscapes, especially the mountain and the rivers. And if we talk about the Chongqing people, they are also very warm-hearted and welcoming. So I really like to be here and working and enjoying my life.
From my academic background and rich experience in industry, so I think that gives me an opportunity to work in Chongqing and Chongqing is also very famous for the automotive industry. I was really crazy about the automotive things. As I told you, when I was young, I really love to play with the electronic components and toys. So that helped me to choose my career in the automotive and work in Chongqing.
I think the Belt and Road Initiative is a good opportunity, is the best opportunity for both sides, not only for Pakistan but also China, to learn about each other's cultures. And we can establish our relationship better and our friendship long-lasting. After graduation, like me, a lot of Pakistani students found a job here, and many people they start a business. So this is also an opportunity for both sides, Pakistan and China, to understand each other and do more business, more import and export."
