Las Vegas, NV, USA - June 24, 2024

A video captured from the National Weather Service (NWS) office in Las Vegas has provided a stunning view of SpaceX's Falcon 9 rocket launching 22 Starlink satellites into space. The footage, shared by NWS Las Vegas on social media, showcases the rocket's ascent from Vandenberg Space Force Base in California, marking one of two successful launches by SpaceX on Sunday.

The Falcon 9 lifted off at 11:47 p.m. EDT (8:47 p.m. local California time) and soared into the night sky, illuminating the horizon as it carried its payload of Starlink satellites. This launch followed an earlier mission from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida, where another Falcon 9 rocket deployed additional Starlink satellites earlier in the day.
