A replica pirate galleon looked spectacular at sunset in a Kent harbour, UK this evening (June 25).

The Lady Brenda is a 42-foot, 22-tonne galleon built over 11 years on an Isle of Sheppey farm and moored in Queenborough harbour.

The vessel has been hand-built by local engineer Lee Rough, who started the build in 2003 mostly using recycled materials.

According to the vessel's website, the galleon was inspired by Sir Francis Drake’s Golden Hind - one of England’s most famous ships.
