Two protective cats defended a toddler from a kitten's attack in eastern China.

CCTV footage filmed in Wenzhou City, Zhejiang Province, on May 19, shows a child accidentally stepping on a kitten, causing the feline to turn around and attempt to attack him.

Suddenly, two cats rushed over to intervene, positioning themselves protectively around the toddler. One of the white cats even swatted at the kitten.

According to the child's father, the cats and his son have since regained their friendliness.

It is reassuring that according to the filmer, who’s the dad of the kid, that the baby and the several cats have regained their friendliness on the strength of cat snacks.
