07/03/2024 01:51 am (GMT-0700) | STUDIO CITY, LOS ANGELES – LAFD had initially responded to reports of a vehicle over the side at the Fryman Canyon Park located at 8401 Mulholland Dr. Upon arrival, resources found two witnesses who were with the victim who had fallen off the side of the cliff. LAFD located the female victim approximately 60 feet below the overlook. LAFD responded with their technical rescue equipment, and were able to successfully use their litter basket to preform a ground-based rescue. The single victim was transported to a local area hospital in stable condition.

The LAFD is performing a ground-based rescue of a 23-year-old female from a low-angle slope -- an LAFD helicopter is in the air to assist with illuminating the area. No vehicular involvement, no major injury.
