On July 7, 2024, an ice cream van got stuck in the wet sand at a popular beach in Cornwall, and subsequently, it was washed out to sea by the incoming tide.
the filmer says: "Walking along Harlyn Bay beach I saw the Ice Cream Van driving along the beach dodging the waves until it got stuck in the wet sand."
This wasn’t the first time that this Ice Cream Van has been stuck on Harlyn Bay beach."
Previously the Ice Cream Van has been rescued by a tractor and 4x4 vehicles but unfortunately this time nobody was there to scoop it out of the sand."
"After floating around in Harlyn Bay for several hours the Ice Cream Van was eventually rescued by a local tractor when the tide receded leaving bent and battered Ice Cream van."
