While exploring Pine Bluffs, WY, a woman suddenly heard a rattlesnake nearby and witnessed it approaching aggressively. Reacting swiftly, she evaded its strike and promptly retreated. It was a close call; rattlesnakes can strike almost half their body length and often go unnoticed until spotted. Fortunately, her dog wasn't accompanying her on this adventure

While taking in the pretty scenery in Pine Bluffs, WY a rattle snake can be heard somewhere off camera. To my horror I finally see the snake coming right at me angry and about to strike. I then high stepped it out of there as quick as I could. I was incredibly lucky I didn’t get bit. Rattlesnakes are known for striking up to almost half their own body length and don't always alarm you with that chilling rattler. If you hear a rattlesnake before you see them you’re pretty damn lucky you weren’t bit already. I was extremely fortunate and so happy my dog wasn’t with me during this excursion.
