STORYLINE:
The International Forum for Cotton, Textiles and Accessories started Wednesday in Cameroon's seaside resort town of Kribi.
The forum aims at improving the infrastructure and performance of the country's cotton value chain.
This year's event featured an exhibition of locally-made cotton products and a fashion show showcasing creations that incorporate Cameroonian traditional textile crafts such as embroidery into modern fashion.

"If there is no cotton today, my business will cease to exist. Cotton is one of the fundamental factors of the production needed in this business because when you look at anything here, whether big or small, cotton is found in it, either 10 percent or even up to 100 percent, all the products that I had exhibited here."
